Both gastroscopy and colonoscopy are endoscopic procedures

for diagnosing and treating various gastrointestinal conditions. Gastroscopy is less common than colonoscopy, and it is usually done for specific indications like reflux or dyspepsia. Colonoscopy is more common and is used to investigate colon and rectal issues. In some cases both procedures are performed for full investigation.

At our rooms at Mediclinic Milnerton, we have an endoscopy suite for personal and private endoscopic procedures. Read more on colonoscopy and on gastroscopy.
